Until recently, the building regulations adopted in Ukraine prohibited the construction of buildings for public and residential purposes above one hundred meters. Recently, the maximum height that such structures can reach has been changed by law . From now on, it is allowed to build high-rise buildings of 150 meters in the country. This means fifty or more storey buildings. It was suggested even to increase the rate to two hundred meters.
This was told by Lev Partskhaladze, Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Housing and Public Utilities, Construction. According to the official, the draft of new standards for high-rise buildings and complexes has passed the approval procedure. Its publication in official sources will take place in the near future.
Partskhaladze expressed the opinion that the new standards will make it possible to implement more modern technological solutions in construction. So far, the changes affect only public buildings .
It is worth saying that in some cases it was possible to build buildings above one hundred meters, but for this it was necessary to obtain a special permit.
